Saint Francis Cathedral Asks Help to Improve Safety

March 23, 2010

Saint Francis is reaching out to the Metuchen - Edison community to assist us in raising funds to purchase a defibulator. As you may know, a defibulator is the piece of equipment needed to aid heart attack victims. Many major food stores, department stores and theaters have this equipment available for the safety of their customers. At this time, Saint Francis Cathedral would like our parishioners to know that we have improved the safety of the Cathedral in the following ways: We have a full EMT kit similar to those carried on all ambulances and we have an oxygen tank to assist anyone with a breathing problem. Our objective is to be prepared for any emergency. Our goal is to make sure that Saint Francis is fully equipped to handle any type of immediate medical emergency. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help achieve the goal of improving the safety and well being of our parishioners with a defibulator. Please make your donatins to Saint Francis, attention Msgr. Robert Zamorski, please note for AED. Any questions my be referred to Louis Nagy at 732-713-0314.
